From dried plant to bottle
In our workshop, we take our time. Every batch begins with a thorough inspection of the herbs we receive. We examine dried leaves for their scent and color, and clean roots by hand to remove all traces of dust before extraction begins.
The slow maceration method
To extract the beneficial compounds without overheating them, we avoid industrial flash-heating methods. We use a proven ratio of water and vegetable glycerin, letting the mixture steep at its own pace:
- Moisture testing: We measure herb moisture levels before maceration to keep concentrations consistent across batches.
- Traceability: We track every harvest, recording the origin and drying date of each herb.
- Clean filtration: We pass the extract through fine cloth filters to produce a clear liquid free of sediment.
Why we insist on amber glass
As soon as filtration is complete, we transfer the liquid directly into pharmaceutical-grade amber glass. This glass filters ultraviolet rays and preserves the plant properties without synthetic preservatives. When you open the bottle at home, you receive nature's care just as intended.
